Description

When i try to use Kali Live from USB on my Thinkpad E585 it causes a kernal panic. I tried multiple images, image software, sticks and boot methods.

"end Kernel Panic - not syncing: timer doesnt work through Interrupt-Remapped IO-APIC"

also the GRUB Console or Boot options are not accessible.

Use a Thinkpad E585

Due to the age of the OS (Kali Moto [v1], Kali Safi [v2], Kali Rolling <= 2018.4), these legacy versions are no longer supported.
