Summary | 0005361: Add support for EZCast EZC-5200 Dualband USB Wifi-Adapter
Description | The EZCast EZC-5200 is a modern small-formfaktor dualband (2,4 GHz: 150 Mbps, 5,8 GHz: 433 Mbps) USB Wi-Fi adapter with onboard antenna, useful for discreetly surveying Wi-Fi networks. Additionally it includes a bluetooth 4.2 adapter. The vendor:product code is 0bda:c820. Inserting it in a RPi 3B+ USB port with a current kali doesn't yield a corresponding Wi-Fi interface.
Steps To Reproduce | Insert adapter into USB port. No new Wi-Fi interface appears.

Due to the age of the OS (Kali Moto [v1], Kali Safi [v2], Kali Rolling <= 2019.1), these legacy versions are no longer supported. Please could you see if you are able to replicate this issue with the latest version of Kali Linux - https://www.kali.org/downloads/)? If you are still facing the same problem, feel free to re-open the ticket. If you choose to do this, could you provide more information to the issue you are facing, and also give information about your setup? |
