Description | As I have tried two desktop packages on my machine the original DE was Gnome and I have added XFCE to the machine since I was facing issues to lock the system. Later I switched to XFCE and removed (purged) all gnome packages and reinstalled, and tried to test the screen lock-in gonemGnome DE. I could see my colleagues are using without any blocker on their machine. | ||||

Due to the age of the OS (Kali Moto [v1], Kali Safi [v2], Kali Rolling <= 2018.4), these legacy versions are no longer supported. Please could you see if you are able to replicate this issue with the latest version of Kali Linux - https://www.kali.org/downloads/)? If you are still facing the same problem, feel free to re-open the ticket.
