If cable is possible, connect cable to computer and open terminal type the following commands

sudo su

apt update

apt install network-manager or apt install networkmanager

service network-manager stop
service network-manager start

If not, create a new user, grant admin privilege, switch to this new user and check internet, delete old user if any
