Summary | 0006859: add orca screenreader with deps to live iso
Description | In earlier versions we had gnome and orca screenreader installed, so that live iso was accessible for blind users. I don't know what desktop environment is used by you now.
Is it really sufficient to just install orca in XFCE and be done with it? What about integration in lightdm? We do provide the live-build configuration so that you can easily build your own ISO eithelr with GNOME or with XFCE and supplementary packages: have a look at https://www.kali.org/docs/development/live-build-a-custom-kali-iso/ |
|
If the autologin is configured, lightdm configuration isn't so needed. |
|
Thanks for the suggestion, this is something we can look into for 2021.4 |
