| Description | I have tried to install KAILI 32 bit version on 2 different laptops, and it fails every time when it is copying file system. Back track 5 and Knoppix 7.4 have no issues installing. ISO was down loaded from https://www.kali.org/downloads/ | ||||

Without additional information, the report is of no use to us. What is the failure message? have you checked the installation log files? |

The above screen shot is what the error message is. How do i check the log files? |

Please provide /var/log/syslog that you can through a shell available at the second console (CTRL+ALT+F2). You can also watch the log live on the fourth console (CTRL+ALT+F4), the error might appear in the last lines. |

Hey guys found the problem, it turns out my dvd burner waqs buring little holes in the dvd. after 5 dvds it work. Thanks |

Due to the age of the OS (Kali Moto [v1], Kali Safi [v2], Kali Rolling 2016.x), these legacy versions are no longer supported. Please could you see if you are able to replicate this issue with the latest version of Kali Linux - https://www.kali.org/downloads/)? If you are still facing the same problem, feel free to re-open the ticket. If you choose to do this, could you provide more information to the issue you are facing,and also give information about your setup? |
