Can you retry with Linux 4.3 from Kali Rolling 2016.1?

I've retried with a vanilla Kali Rolling 2016.1 installation with similar results. Although the "waiting for wlan0 to become free" message is gone, the network still cuts out.

An easy way to reproduce is by running nmap 192.168.1.1/24

Has this bug been fixed by newer kernel releases?

Due to the age of the OS (Kali Moto [v1], Kali Safi [v2], Kali Rolling 2016.x), these legacy versions are no longer supported.
