Description

I have installed uswsusp from official repo of kali rolling but suspend-keygen command is not working.

Steps To Reproduce

boot kali rolling (live or hdd install)

  1. apt-get update
  2. apt-get install uswsusp
  3. issue suspend-keygen command in terminal

result :-

bash: suspend-keygen: command not found

This is due to uswsusp not supporting the version of libgcrypt we use.

Upstream debian bug is https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=758995

Due to the age of the OS (Kali Moto [v1], Kali Safi [v2], Kali Rolling 2016.x), these legacy versions are no longer supported.
