Description

Hi, i installed my pc kali 2016.2 x64 gnome but, have grub rescue error.
Showing me this error:
error unknown filesystem grub rescue

i'm not fix manually please look at this. Thanks.

Why anyone look at here? I'm can not use kali 2016.2 When i fix this? Help please...

Please give more details of what you did to get to this error...

I see many partitions in your screenshot. Did you keep around partitions from another operating system? Or did you assign the whole disk to Kali? What did you answers to the various boot-loader related questions that you got during installation? Do you have a log of the installation process? (see http://docs.kali.org/installation/troubleshooting-a-kali-linux-install you can get to the menu just by pressing "back" at the last step of the installation process)

A possible work-around is probably to try to reinstall your computer while having booted your Kali ISO in legacy mode instead of UEFI. You can usually select this in the Setup screen at the start of the computer.

I don't have any spare UEFI computer where I can test an UEFI install to see if I can reproduce your issue.

Hi, i'm used already kali 2016.1 but is not have error. (with double boot)
I downloaded kali 2016.2 mate and gnome versions after i've tried but show me grub rescue.

my firstly system is windows 10. I want a double boot.

grub-loader isn't showing bios boot menu.
