There's no guest user in any live image. What are you speaking of? And since you are auto-logged as root by default, there's no login page either. Are you sure that this is not the same as bug 0002513 ? This is when your screen is locked you can still see some menus and icons that should be hidden... |

Hello. Sorry if it wasn't clear enough. What I mean is the starting page when you should put your user name and password. It seems to be the bug 0002513. Menu and icons are apparent when they should be hidden. It does that only with I login with a guest user. Not with the root one. Thanks! |

Due to the age of the OS (Kali Moto [v1], Kali Safi [v2], Kali Rolling 2016.x), these legacy versions are no longer supported. Please could you see if you are able to replicate this issue with the latest version of Kali Linux - https://www.kali.org/downloads/)? If you are still facing the same problem, feel free to re-open the ticket. If you choose to do this, could you provide more information to the issue you are facing,and also give information about your setup? |
