Summary0003736: warning: failed to connect to lvmetad
Description

I have duel booted kali-linux with windows 7, after accessing kali on the grub boot loader an error message appears: "warning: failed to connect to lvmetad" then it tells me it is unable to mount drives, what is an lvmetad and how do i connect to it? I have tried serching youtube and had conflicting reports, i know i need to go into kali repair mode but after that i am lost. Please tell me what to do after that, thank you.

Due to the age of the OS (Kali Moto [v1], Kali Safi [v2], Kali Rolling 2016.x), these legacy versions are no longer supported.
