Summary0003767: Kernel panic with isl3887usb firmware
Description

I'm try to install ISL3887 driver for my usb wi-fi adapter (Sinus 154 data II) on last Kali (Linux system 4.8.0-kali2-amd64 0000001 SMP Debian 4.8.11-1kali1 (2016-12-08) x86_64 GNU/Linux).
I used the instructions on debian wiki for p54usb second generation USB devices (https://wiki.debian.org/prism54#p54usb).
But unfortunately, I get a kernel panic after connect the device.
The last time this way was OK. But i have not done this during last three month, so couldn't tell, when it became broken exactly

Steps To Reproduce
  1. apt-get update && apt-get upgrade && apt-get dist-upgrade
  2. wget https://daemonizer.de/prism54/prism54-fw/fw-usb/2.13.25.0.lm87.arm --no-check-certificate
  3. mv 2.13.25.0.lm87.arm /lib/firmware/isl3887usb
  4. modprobe p54usb
  5. connect the device on usb port

Due to the age of the OS (Kali Moto [v1], Kali Safi [v2], Kali Rolling 2016.x), these legacy versions are no longer supported.
