Summary	0004249: Keyboard and mouse not working on Raspberry Pi3
Description	cannot get keyboard or mouse to work with Kali-2017.01-rpi2.img.xz all hardware works with raspbian image. Tried update and upgrade with no luck. Also upon re-imaging tried apt-get update and apt-get dist-upgrade with no fix.

Because the kernel seems to recognize the hardware without problems. Have you connected a screen and started a graphical on it? How did you start it?

I'm going to guess your input devices aren't being recognized correctly by X. Should just be a matter of figuring that out, but I can't do that until I see the Xorg.0.log that shows what it says about the input device(s). Thanks!

If you have both xserver-xorg-input-mouse and xserver-xorg-input-keyboard installed and it's still failing... do you have anything in /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d ? Something seems to be overriding the input devices. Are you able to reproduce the issue on a stock 2017.2 image as well?
