Hello
I've installed Kali Linux 2016.2 amd 64 in my HP 14r217tu laptop. I've installed it yesterday as Graphical installation. But it's not properly shutting down the machine. After click on power off, the display hangs with black screen. Few months ago I've also tried UBUNTU latest version to install on this laptop. But same problem I've faced there. So I returned to WINDOWS. But I'm Passionate about Linux. So what should I do now to fix this. I've tried to change /etc/default/grab . But it still alive. Every time I press the power button until the Laptop properly get shut down.. Is this the right way to shut down? If not? Is there any solution?? Plz help me.
