Summary | 0004949: Powershell issues with Metasploit Webdelivery module only in 2018.3
Description | Using the multi/script/web_delivery metasploit module, and using target 2 PSH, and payload windows/meterpreter/reverse_tcp it is not correctly generating a remote shell when you run the powershell code on the target system (32 or 64 bit). Either a shell will not be created with no error, or powershell errors out on the Windows side. This works perfectly fine on both 32 or 64 bit systems in 2018.2 and earlier.
You might want to report this to the metasploit developers instead: |
|
Due to the age of the OS (Kali Moto [v1], Kali Safi [v2], Kali Rolling <= 2018.3), these legacy versions are no longer supported. Please could you see if you are able to replicate this issue with the latest version of Kali Linux - https://www.kali.org/downloads/)? If you are still facing the same problem, feel free to re-open the ticket. If you choose to do this, could you provide more information to the issue you are facing, and also give information about your setup? |
