Summary0005191: Wifi adapter not working after recent update
Description

The wifi adapter was working before the update literally right before the update, and then once I updated it yesterday, the adapter is no longer working. Please fix ASAP!

Steps To Reproduce

I went on youtube and tried several of the steps including going into network manager and changed the variable from false to true. Granted, I cannot access the web from the kali linux so I had to use youtube on my phone. Several youtube videos showed a site to download wifi adapter compatibility, but that did not work because I don't have access to the internet without the wifi adapter working.

Which chipset/driver? Is your system up to date (4.18)?

What variable did you change? Anything in dmesg related to the failure?

I changed the variable that was in the network manager config file from false to true like in the youtube video. My system is up to date and I am using an 802.11ac ultra-Range AC 1200 USB adapter.

I can't get onto the internet no matter what I do and it says that it can't find the wifi adapter.

Due to the age of the OS (Kali Moto [v1], Kali Safi [v2], Kali Rolling <= 2018.4), these legacy versions are no longer supported.
