| Summary | 0005024: ssh-keygen with password doesn't allow conversion in puttygen | ||||
| Description | looks like in the latest build after doing apt-get upgrade (2018.4) the ssh-keygen utility (August 2018) has changed. when creating RSA keys with passwords and then trying to convert them with the latest version of puttygen (.70) there is an error. the previous ssh-keygen version (march 2018) allows conversion with no issues. I did a write-up if you need more details. https://japtb.blogspot.com/2018/10/august-update-to-ssh-keygen-breaks.html | ||||
