Summary | 0002043: keyboard not usable in LUKS prompt after update to kernel 3.18
Description | After having updated to kernel 3.18, I am unable to use the keyboard to enter LUKS password at boot. At grub menu it remains usable, and with kernel 3.14 it works again.
Steps To Reproduce |
| ||||
Additional Information | Tryed updating initrd manually with no results. Also changing USB port.
Is this on an installed system or using the "live system with encrypted persistence" ? |
|
I can confirm this. After updating an existing installation to kernel 3.18.0-kali1-amd64, a USB keyboard does not work at the pre-boot LUKS prompt. |
|
It's on a disk installed system, not live. |
|
This should be fixed with initramfs-tools 0.116kali1 that I just uploaded. |
