Summary0002043: keyboard not usable in LUKS prompt after update to kernel 3.18
Description

After having updated to kernel 3.18, I am unable to use the keyboard to enter LUKS password at boot. At grub menu it remains usable, and with kernel 3.14 it works again.
The keyboard is Logitech k400i wireless.

Steps To Reproduce
  1. Update to 3.18 kernel
  2. Reboot with new kernel
  3. Try to use keyboard to enter LUKS password.
Additional Information

Tryed updating initrd manually with no results. Also changing USB port.

Is this on an installed system or using the "live system with encrypted persistence" ?

I can confirm this.

After updating an existing installation to kernel 3.18.0-kali1-amd64, a USB keyboard does not work at the pre-boot LUKS prompt.

It's on a disk installed system, not live.

This should be fixed with initramfs-tools 0.116kali1 that I just uploaded.
