i have problems installing the amd driver because of the too old xserver 1.19.2_64a

AMD Catalyst(TM) Proprietary Driver Installer/Packager

error: Detected X Server version 'XServer 1.19.2_64a' is not supported. Supported versions are X.Org 6.9 or later, up to XServer 1.10 (default:v2:x86_64:lib:XServer 1.19.2_64a:none:4.9.0-kali3-amd64:)
Installation will not proceed.

The problem is not that Kali has a too old Xorg server, the problem is that it is too new for the proprietary driver (1.19 >> 1.10). AMD needs to update its proprietary driver... There's nothing that we can fix here. And this is the reason why fglrx got dropped as a Debian package.
