|0007220||Kali Linux||[All Projects] General Bug||public||2021-06-13 01:49||2021-06-27 16:37|
|Target Version||Fixed in Version|
|Summary||0007220: tmux: ctrl-h does not work|
|Description||Using tmux config from OhMyTmux (https://github.com/gpakosz/.tmux), prefix key, ctrl-h should move focus to the previous window in the current tmux session. This does not work in Kali. I've used this tmux config on Debian, Arch, and Ubuntu without issue, but for some reason this key binding does not work in Kali.|
|Steps To Reproduce||Install OhMyTmux (https://github.com/gpakosz/.tmux))|
tmux (attach to new session)
prefix key, c (new window is created, now there are two windows in the session)
prefix key, ctrl l (focus is moved to next window)
prefix key, ctrl h (focus should move to the prev window)
Focus should move to the previous window, however on Kali nothing happens. The current tmux window stays open.
I've tested it on kali and I can confirm the issue in the maIn terminal that comes with Kali Xfce. It doesn't happen with other terminals, so you can try installing gnome-terminal instead (sudo apt install gnome-terminal).
I'll open a bug report for qterminal
||Thanks for looking into this. I confirmed that gnome-terminal works as expected with the config.|
