This is an unfortunate side effect of installing from the Live image instead of the installer ISO. To work around it, simply "sudo apt purge --autoremove raspi-firmware" |

It has been over 2 months since reporter replied, and the 2022.3 release should have the issue fixed and not pull in the raspi-firmware package anymore. Closing the bug |
