| Description | An "undefined symbol" error occurs on a fresh install of Kali 2024.3 during any apt command. All apt actions include an error which prevents automation (ansible) from working. This is an upstream bug in the python-apt package: https://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/msg699265.html It has been fixed, and 2.9.2 has been released: https://tracker.debian.org/news/1591007/accepted-python-apt-292-source-into-unstable/ python-apt 2.9.2 needs to be imported into kali-rolling to fix this issue. | ||||
