Summary	0009126: Kali Linux Installer Cannot Boot. Enters Grub Rescue Mode.
Description	On my thinkpad, none of the Kali Linux 2024.4 and later installer isos can be booted on my Thinkpad. While my Ideapad can boot, my Thinkpad cannot. My bios settings are suitable for a UEFI Linux installation. Other Linuxes work without any problems. But the Kali Linux isos enter Grub Rescue mode and cannot be booted. I burned them with dd, isoimagewriter and Balena etcher, but none of them booted.

berkkucukk 2025-04-06 22:14 reporter ~0020469	The installation was successfully completed by booting using grub2 with ventoy. You can mark it as solved. If the installer enters grub rescue mode, it can be booted with ventoy.
