Summary | 0009299: wpa_supplicant.conf on Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W
Description | The documentation (https://www.kali.org/docs/arm/raspberry-pi-zero-2-w/) says that you can add wpa_supplicant.conf to the boot partition to have it connect to a wireless network. It turns out that the feature doesn't work, at least not on a Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W. The copy-user-wpasupplicant.sh script executes and creates the connection using nmcli, but it won't actually connect because wlan0 defaults to an unmanaged state. I'm not sure if this is a documentation issue or a setup issue, but it certainly came as a surprise to me.
