| Summary | 0009749: Shutdown hangs on bpf_trampoline_put kernel bug on 6.19.14 | ||||
| Description | My hardware: MSI GP62 6QF bpf_trampoline_put.part.0+0xa8/0x100 That it affects both 6.16 and 6.19 kernels | ||||

You shall report this to the devs of the kernel at their bugtracker, not to Kali (they are stating regularly here they can't debug/help with kernel issues) :-) |

|
"Resolved after upgrading systemd from 259 to 260.1. The bpf-restrict-fs LSM BPF program in systemd 259 was attaching a tracing link that triggered a bug in ftrace_free_filter during shutdown. systemd 260 detects when the kernel BPF LSM hook is not enabled and skips it, preventing the hang. No kernel patch needed." |

Either way, always something to report to devs of the software and not to packaging team like Kali :-p |
