Summary0000048: EDB (Evans debugger) segmentation fault on startup
Description

I'm unable to run edb, since it always crash on startup.

Debugging the issue the segmentation fault happens in the _start function.

The tools uses several different libraries, so the problem can be an incompatible library, but we can't exclude a bug in the code.

The tool has always been very unstable (I used the tool a few times in the past years), so my question is "Should we include a very unstable tool in the default image?"

System:
Linux kali 3.7-trunk-686-pae 0000001 SMP Debian 3.7.2-0+kali4 i686 GNU/Linux

Problem still exists in the release.

Launching from the menu results in nothing.
