Summary | 0000048: EDB (Evans debugger) segmentation fault on startup
Description | I'm unable to run edb, since it always crash on startup. Debugging the issue the segmentation fault happens in the _start function. The tools uses several different libraries, so the problem can be an incompatible library, but we can't exclude a bug in the code. The tool has always been very unstable (I used the tool a few times in the past years), so my question is "Should we include a very unstable tool in the default image?" System:
Problem still exists in the release. Launching from the menu results in nothing. Output when running from the console is as follows: Starting edb version: 0.9.18 |

fixed in edb-debugger_0.9.18-1kali3 |
