Description | Autopsy uses /usr/bin/icat-sleuthkit to show file content and export files. The console print an error when trying to use these features: sh: 1: /usr/bin/icat-sleuthkit: not found The icat command is already installed by the sleuthkit package on /usr/bin/icat | ||||
Steps To Reproduce | Run Autopsy, and go to http://localhost:9999/autopsy in any browser. | ||||
Additional Information | Workaround: The icat command is already installed by the sleuthkit package. ln -s /usr/bin/icat /usr/bin/icat-sleuthkit The same | ||||
Due to the age of the OS (Kali Moto [v1], Kali Safi [v2], Kali Rolling 2016.x), these legacy versions are no longer supported. Please could you see if you are able to replicate this issue with the latest version of Kali Linux - https://www.kali.org/downloads/)?
