Strange issue, as it only happens to a little group of people. I've seen something similar with another theme but I was unable to reproduce it.
Does this issue also occur with other themes, for example, Adwaita-dark (open gnome-tweaks -> Appearance and change Applications theme)
Does it also happen with a live iso, or only with the one you have installed? (the live iso doesn't have gnome but you can try installing tilix and nautilus)

It does exist with every dark theme that there is out there on my installed version.
As for the live ISO (I downloaded 2020.1b on March 24), I never had that issue. It only occurred with the introduction of Gnome 3.36 when the whole 3.34/3.36 fiasco happened.

One guy fixed it for flat-remix-gtk by removing some files:
Try deleting ~/.config/gtk-2.0 and ~/.config/gtk-3.0 ...

So, I opted to moving the directories gtk-2.0 and gtk-3.0 to another directory and that did indeed solve the problem.
However, before doing so, I changed Line 4 in gtk-3.0/colors.css

From >> @define-color theme_base_color #fcfcfc;

To >> @define-color theme_base_color #221b30;

This line seems to fix nautilus and terminal colors by changing the base color from white to that other color. However, there seems to be some process getting stuck in a loop when you actually
open up the terminal, in which case you have to keyboard-interrupt it. I'm guessing there are some other values that need to be changed and cross-referenced with that one on line 4.

I'm gonna paste the output for ~/.xsession-errors here and gtk-3.0/colors.css in another note so that you get a visual reference should this be helpful
