| Description | Getting a error message whenever i open Davinci Software i have attached screenshot of the issues. I know the purpose of the distro but still i wanted to make this work so i tried different methods but still it did'nt work kindly look into the issue. i am not sure this is an issue with kali or the software but still need an resolution My hardware | ||||

Not a bug in Kali. I don't know what's the underlying issue, it could be missing firmware, it could be a X11/Wayland issue, or whatever. You should try to start Resolve from a terminal (rather than clicking in the menu), maybe there will be more details of what actually fails. Then use this information to google search. In any case, it's very unlikely that the issue is specific to Kali, you're hitting a more generic issue "How do I run Davinci Resolve on my Linux distro". Also, you're probably aware that officially, Resolve only supports CentOS. Running on another distro might or might not work, with more or less tweaks and workarounds. In any case, it's on YOU to understand the errors and fix it.
