I am having the same issue. I am getting the error:

Error Extracting Archivel: Lzma Library Error: Corrupt Input Data

I am using RPi Imager. I have tried installing directly from the specific function os in the imager and an image I downloaded from KALI's website. The same error from both methods.

I have tested flashing via Balena Etcher and received a different error stating that the image is not bootable.
