The same mismatch has been observed with Raspberry Pi 2 (v1.2), 3, 4 and 400 (64-bit) as well

Can confirm this is also happening with 32-bit version.

Both 32 and 64 bit images are corrupt

Note: https://kali.download/arm-images/kali-2024.1/ images here work fine

@afunnynut because those are 2024.1 images, not 2024.2 images.

For those facing issues, they can get the 2024.1 images and update them as a temporary fix, I guess

@Arszilla yes I meant the older images work fine as a workaround till the 2024.2 images are sorted.

I was able to successfully flash 2024.1 via https://kali.download/arm-images/kali-2024.1/

I try to report first on reddit r/Kalilinux for Raspberry Pi 2 (v1.2), 3, 4 and 400 (64-bit) but I was not allowed to so there. Later, on I posted here - https://unix.stackexchange.com/questions/780520/pi-4-kali-32-bit-64-bit-download-corrupt-and-sha256sum-mismatched. Sha256sum for 2024.2 are now matching that I was able to successfully extract the image by 7-zip which failed to complete the task before fixing.
