Not sure if a packaging team can do much about software crash.

Try to identify the crashing part and report it to the software developer instead maybe?

nmap 7.99 s now in kali-dev and it will migrate to kali-rolling after it clears QA checks. I can confirm the issue reported here is fixed with 7.99.

i add dev repo , install nmap 7.99 perfect work

Make sure to pin the kali-dev repo to a low priority. kali-dev is not meant to be used by end users, it's often in a broken state. So if you add it to your apt sources, you should also add a low priority pinning (man apt_preferences for details).

nmap 7.99 is now and Kali rolling and available to everyone. Closing the issue. Thanks for the report!
