Summary | 0004333: Clicking "Log in as another user" on a live usb bypasses password input
Description | When the live usb is running and the user locks the PC, the password should be required to enter back into the session. However, clicking "Log in as another user" freezes the system temporarily, then allows access to the session with no password required.
Steps To Reproduce | Boot a live usb of Kali Linus 2017.2
Additional Information | Every time I followed the above set of events, it has let me in w/o a password. Please let me know if I need to send any package versions to help.
Due to the age of the OS (Kali Moto [v1], Kali Safi [v2], Kali Rolling 2016.x/2017.1/2017.2), these legacy versions are no longer supported. Please could you see if you are able to replicate this issue with the latest version of Kali Linux - https://www.kali.org/downloads/)? If you are still facing the same problem, feel free to re-open the ticket. If you choose to do this, could you provide more information to the issue you are facing, and also give information about your setup? |
