Summary | 0004889: GDM3 root login default password after change bug
Description | After properly setting up my Kali package, I disabled auto login and wanted to change from the default 'toor' password. However, after passwd command and reboot twice, for some reason whenever kali had just started (first greeter after the verbose startup), AND whenever I logout any accounts, it never accepts the new password BUT the default 'toor' password. I suspect it is due to manually setting up persistence since I couldn't get persistence unless I manually do it. I however, followed the steps given from the Kali Documentation USB Persistence tut. (linked bellow). I hope to fix this before I do some more serious business. USB Persistence Tutorial: https://docs.kali.org/downloading/kali-linux-live-usb-persistence
