|Summary||0004889: GDM3 root login default password after change bug|
|Description||After properly setting up my Kali package, I disabled auto login and wanted to change from the default 'toor' password.|
However, after passwd command and reboot twice, for some reason whenever kali had just started (first greeter after the verbose startup), AND whenever I logout any accounts, it never accepts the new password BUT the default 'toor' password.
I suspect it is due to manually setting up persistence since I couldn't get persistence unless I manually do it. I however, followed the steps given from the Kali Documentation USB Persistence tut. (linked bellow).
I hope to fix this before I do some more serious business.
