Summary | 0005435: Kali Weekly not validating gpg signature
Description | I am trying to validate the gpg signature for the Kali weekly version with SHA256SUMs from the kali website, and you can see the steps that I took to do it in the picture below. It continuously fails though. I downloaded the SHA1SUMS to validate it wasn't something wrong with my machine, and the SHA1SUMS work perfectly. So I have no idea what is happening.
Steps To Reproduce | Followed directions from "Download Kali Linux Images Securely" from the webpage: https://www.kali.org/downloads/

Due to the age of the OS (Kali Moto [v1], Kali Safi [v2], Kali Rolling <= 2019.1), these legacy versions are no longer supported. Please could you see if you are able to replicate this issue with the latest version of Kali Linux - https://www.kali.org/downloads/)? If you are still facing the same problem, feel free to re-open the ticket. If you choose to do this, could you provide more information to the issue you are facing, and also give information about your setup? |
