Steps To Reproduce | Download Kali ARM 2020.1 via direct download or torrent (tested both) and burn the image to a sd-card via Linux Mints Disk Image Writer. | ||||
Additional Information | Deleting the described folders before running apt-get upgrade fixes most of the resulting the issues, if not dependency issues due to wrong versions or non-existence of packets ensue. | ||||
Thanks for the report! I will look into the filesystem corruption issue. The root:toor is noted in the release blog, arm images do not currently use kali:kali but root:toor and in 2020.2's release, they will be root:toor for the first boot, and then you as an end user will set your own username and password as well as changing the root password. |
