Summary | 0008720: Kali Live needs support for accessibility
Description | When using the latest kali live image on a flash drive 2024.1, I am unable to start accessibility features (brltty, orca, speakup). Are these features available on the live image? If so how do I enable them after booting from the live flash drive and will these settings persist?
I am a totally blind user, and use both a screen reader and a braille display to interact with kali which is installed on my home computer but I want to take a live image withme but have these accessibility features available on boot. |
|
Currently, we do not have an entry in the live iso that enables the accessibility features on the boot entry. If you enable them, they will not persist unless you have set up persistence, and boot using that option. I appreciate you opening the issue, and we will look into what we can do for this over here. |
