MY feeling is that your broken repo is a result of an issue on your side, such as no inet connectivity during the install, or selecting "no" on the network repo option during the install. Our ISOS seem fine. Other than that, ethtool has been added to the default kali.packages.list, and will be included in the Kali ISO in the next minor bugfix release. Thanks! |
