Summary0001185: Atftpd messes the apt and system badly
DescriptionEither I just cannot get it working since i'm stupid or atftpd might have some configuration issue. However, /etc/default/atftpd is not modified after running dpkg-reconfigure atftpd.

This though can be easily fixed by using some other tftpd server. Tftpd is mainly used when pushing software to switches or routers in security lab.
removing atftpd still makes nice feature:

<copy begin>
aptitude remove atftpd
The following packages will be REMOVED:
  atftpd
0 packages upgraded, 0 newly installed, 1 to remove and 107 not upgraded.
Need to get 0 B of archives. After unpacking 209 kB will be freed.
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
 kali-linux : Depends: atftpd but it is not going to be installed.
The following actions will resolve these dependencies:

     Remove the following packages:
1) kali-linux
2) kali-linux-full
3) kali-linux-sdr
<copy end>

Should it do this?

This isn't as scary as it looks. atftpd is part of certain metapackages so if you remove atftpd, the metapackage won't be complete anymore. It does not remove the other packages included in the metapackages.
