Summary0000131: Package decompress error when installing
Description

There is an error installing the AMD64 version of Kali1.01 at base system install step, where a package fails to install due to probably a syntax error in the install scripts. The syslog message when the error happens is as follows:

Steps To Reproduce

Anytime when trying to install the AMD64 image.
I'm trying on a notebook with Intel HM56 mainboard and Intel I5 processor, with integrated i915 graphics.
That happens both when trying to install from USB or from DVD. If I try to install Kali under VirtualBox or Hyper-V, the same error happens, but it does not occur when installing to a VmWare Workstation 8 or 9 VM.

Please let me know which types of hardware information or further logs are needed to help identify the issue.

Can you please verify the sha1sum of your downloaded ISO. I have my doubts about this being an installer bug.
