|Fixed in Version||1.1.0|
|Summary||0001744: mfcuk does not find the correct keys|
As detailed here : https://code.google.com/p/mfcuk/issues/detail?id=21
mfcuk does not find the correct keys.
|Steps To Reproduce|
Run mfcuk with flags to find a key for any sector, the keys found will be wrong.
The fix is in included in R94 of mfcuk which is not available in Kali 1.0.9.
The file containing the fix is mfcuk.c
To get this working on Kali, download the mfcuk.c file from https://code.google.com/p/mfcuk/source/browse/trunk/src/mfcuk.c.
Then run through this process http://docs.kali.org/development/rebuilding-a-package-from-source and make sure to replace the mfcuk.c file in the src directory with the one you downloaded.
When you get to the bit where you need to run dpkg-buildpackage, add -b to the command or it will fail. So the command is dpkg-buildpackage -b.
Working .deb file with the fix applied is attached for 64 bit architecture.
