This is not a proper tool request. http://docs.kali.org/kali-policy/penetration-testing-tools-policy |
Alright, Will update to compliance in next note. |
*updated description* Please add the frasm distorm3 ruby bindings to the repository. This will allow accessing the distorm3 disassembler from within Ruby, which can be useful for developers working on Vulnerability research involving binaries. The tool is licensed GPL v3, which allows for redistribution. It is a Ruby binding to distorm3 , which will require distorm3 be up to date in the repository as well. This tool will allow for developers to use Ruby to interact with distorm3, opening up possibilities such as using Metasploit in exploit development against binaries using distorm. The only requirement should be to update distorm in the distribution, as this is nothing more than scripting bindings. There are currently no alternatives to this functionality in the existing distribution. https://github.com/rpeleg1970/frasm *edit: Sorry I got confused with what I was posting about given that I also have to update the Armstorm request. |
I'll begin by packaging distorm3, then proceed from there. |
Committed distorm3_3.3-1kali0. It should be in the repos soon. |
