| Summary | 0002040: new installation wrong pass | ||||
| Description | After installing Kali trough GUI, a complex password wont work. After several reinstallations I figured that root login pass works only if I use certain character complexity - just Up/lower alphanumerical. (I use Croatian key layout) | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | "Works" every time using GUI install (didn`t try cli install) | ||||
|
Try to type your password in a non-password text field during the GUI install to see whether it types what you think you are typing... but I doubt that we will address this "bug" in Kali. You might want to try to reproduce it on Debian and report it there. |
