Summary	0002119: kali has outdated version of ruby that is not compatible with modern metasploit
Description	While the metasploit debian package is aged enough for this not to be an issue the most current release of msf depends on ruby >= 2 (not kali's 1.9) so for msf-git and newer iterations of msf to work kali will need to have a more current version of Ruby (I recommend 2.2)

muts 2015-02-20 07:15 reporter ~0003090	We wont be updating ruby beyond what Debian has to offer. The MSF team build the metaspliot-framework package and are aware of the version of ruby in use.
