Summary | 0002143: Make it possible to override initrd preseed entries from the kernel command line
Description | The fact that the initrd takes precedence over entries given on the kernel command line is a long time annoyance: We should probably enhance the "preseed" udeb so that it supports a special syntax like "mirror/hostname!=my.mirror.com" that would reset the setting after having parsed the initrd preseed.
Filed https://bugs.debian.org/805291 to get the discussion going on the Debian side. |
|
Uploaded preseed 1.62+kali1 with the fix and rebuilt debian-installer in kali-dev to test this out. |
|
Confirmed that it works well, and rebuilt d-i in safi as well. |
