Summary0002191: No Support for Kali ARMEL Pi 2 TFT Screens
Description

The new Raspberry Pi 2 doesn't have TFT screen support in the Kali 1.10 image release. There is TFT screen support for previous Pi models but the new chip on the Pi 2 needs a new module for touch screens. Is it possible to add tiny touch screen support for the Pi 2 in the next Kali release?

Steps To Reproduce

The Kali ARMEL 1.10 doesn't support the new Pi 2 with touch screen displays. The screen is blank or the device doesn't boot up when using any other Kali image for the Raspberry Pi 2.

Additional Information

Notro was working on a device tree add on for TFT support but I don't know if that is the problem. These screens range from 2.8" to 9 inch displays.

I'm looking in to this, and I believe the support SHOULD be there in the 1.1.1 release that I'll be pushing out soon.

You are correct, we do not support RP2 TFT images yet. We do not know when and if we will create new images for this.
