| Summary | 0002298: The PenTesters Framework (PTF) | ||||
| Description | The PenTesters Framework (PTF)[1] is a Python script designed for Debian/Ubuntu based distributions to create a similar and familiar distribution for Penetration Testing. As pentesters, we've been accustom to the /pentest/ directories or our own toolsets that we want to keep up-to-date all of the time. We have those "go to" tools that we use on a regular basis, and using the latest and greatest is important. | ||||
|
Unfortunately this tool cannot be added to Kali as it breaks existing package managers such as apt. In addition, the /pentest directory is not FSH compliant - which is why we got rid of it in the first place with Kali (it's a remnant from BackTrack). |
