Summary0002693: No VPN icon in Kali 2.0 (gnome) as root
Description

I have installed openvpn but I don't see any vpn icon in the drop-down menu where WiFi and all connections are showed. This happens only when we logged in as root.

Additional Information

This works fine when not logged in as root.
I prefer to run Linux as root.
