According to http://git.kali.org/gitweb/?p=packages/freeradius-wpe.git;a=summary
GITWEB_BASE_URL can be set to mention the clone-URLs on the gibweb page required to access the appropriate repositories. Mentioning them would make it easier to get to the code.

The git:// URL does appear on http://git.kali.org/ since quite some time already.
